PROGRAM DIRECTORS

  • Manage and supervise specific division or programs within camp
  • Provide support and guidance to their team of staff
  • Coordinate parent communication

Qualifications: College graduate, or equivalent professional experience, with demonstrated leadership in an education environment.

 

HEAD COUNSELORS

  • Responsible for the daily supervision and management of a single group of campers in a specific age group
  • Lead campers through their daily activities
  • Directly supervise Group Counselors
  • Support Activity Specialists in leading camp activities
  • Manage direct communication with parents|caregivers of campers in assigned group

Qualifications: High School graduate with professional employment experience working with children.

 

GROUP COUNSELORS

  • Assist Head Counselor in managing a specific group of campers
  • Provide campers with physical and emotional safety and an overall positive camp experience
  • Assist Activity Specialists in the full range of camp activities

Qualifications: Counselors must be at least 16 years old with demonstrated experience working with children.

ACTIVITY SPECIALISTS

  • Responsible for the leadership of a specific camp activity 
  • Design and teach a rich and varied curriculum in a specific activity
  • Work with either the 3 to 5 year old or 6 to 13 year old age ranges
  • Examples of camp activities led by Activity Specialists include: adventure challenge, archery, beads, ceramics, dance, design lab, drama, mindful science!, music, nature, sports, storytellers, tennis, visual art, woodshop, yoga

Qualifications: College graduate, or equivalent, with demonstrated experience both teaching their activity, and managing groups of children.

 

SPECIALTY PROGRAM INSTRUCTORS

  • responsible for leading a small group of campers through an intensive specialty program experience
  • work most often partnered with one staff member to guide campers through one of our specialty camps

Qualifications: College graduate, or equivalent professional experience, with demonstrated experience both teaching specific activity and managing groups of children.

 

AQUATICS STAFF

  • Responsible for leading swim instruction in all age groups
  • Provide overall safety at pools through supervision and lifeguarding

Qualifications: Lifeguards must be at least 16 years old with current Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification, Water Safety Instructor certification preferred.
