FAQs
-
How do I get to see the camp before registering?
Please call us at 617-738-2750 to arrange a personal tour and information session with the Director, Associate Director or Operations Manager, and check out our Visit Us page for upcoming information sessions.
-
Where and how do I register for your summer camp programs?
You can register through our safe and secure online registration platform. Families should select any of the “REGISTER NOW” buttons on our site. “REGISTER NOW” also appears in mulptle menus on our site. From there, follow the system prompts and select the programs for which you wish to register each camper. Once these steps are completed, you will receive an email confirming your registration. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
-
Do your programs fill?
Due to the popularity of our programs, many do fill early. We encourage you to register as early as possible.
-
What if the session I want is full?
As soon as each program session reaches its maximum capacity, we create a waitlist.
-
How does your waitlist work?
If the program or session in which you are attempting to enroll your camper is full, you will be given the option to join the waitlist. There is no cost to be placed on the waitlist. Should a spot become available, we will contact you to confirm interest. Based upon written confirmation, within a specified period of time, we will enroll your camper and charge your account the non-refundable deposit.
-
What is the likelihood of getting into a program off of the waitlist?
Some programs fill early, typically, however, families make changes in registrations. Though we cannot guarantee that a spot will become available, we have found that some openings become available as we move through the spring and approach the start of camp.
-
Is financial aid available?
Beaver’s financial assistance is limited to children referred to us through Steps to Success and Wildflower for Kids. We do not provide direct financial assistance to families.
-
How does Beaver accommodate special needs of campers?
Any camper who can navigate well in a typical school setting should thrive at Beaver Summer Camp. However, because your child’s safety is paramount, some prospective campers’ physical or emotional considerations may require extra support. Please call the Camp Office to discuss your child’s specific needs and to find out if our camp is an appropriate placement.
